National Office Moves

Our national moves have individual or shared loads available. A shared load is a consolidated load whereby you and other clients share a load in a single truck.

Packing Services

​

Full Packing Services

​

I MOVES SA will provide packing materials such as boxes, buffer tape and bubble wrap.

​

Furthermore we provide all protective packing materials such as pallet wrap and couch and furniture covers.

​

Full labour and disassembling and reassembling of your furniture are included and we ensure your belongings are carefully secured for safe transit.

Part Packing

​

You can do part of the packing while I MOVES SA does the delicate packing, which might be difficult for you to do yourself, for example, the dismantling of complicated wall units.

Packing Materials Only

​

I MOVES SA can provide only the packing materials if you choose not to utilise our packing service.

​

The packing materials provided includes, boxes, bubble wrap, buffer tape, protective sheets and furniture covers.

Storage

​

I MOVES SA can store your belongings while you are in the process of moving.

​

We have an extensive network of storage facilities through partners in the following cities:

Our storage facilities are secure, control accessed, clean and properties are protected by electric fencing.

​

Storage sizes range from small units for a few items to facilities large enough for any office size; the units range from 3 cubic metres - 1000 cubic metres.

Our storage network also includes warehouses of different sizes for storing very large office, hotel and business items.

 

Truck Types

​

I MOVES SA has the following types of trucks available for your move:

​

1.5 Ton Trucks

​

1.5 ton trucks are open trucks and they are ideal for very small moves.

​

These trucks are generally used in many residential complexes where there is a vehicle restriction of 3 tons or less.

​

We also use these trucks as a shuttle service. For example, if one of our larger trucks cannot access your premises for a particular reason, the larger truck will park outside your premises and the 1.5 ton truck will then shuttle your belongings between your premises and the larger vehicle.

​

These trucks come with a driver and 1 or 2 loaders.

5 Ton Trucks

​

5 ton trucks are ideal for small home office moves.

​

These trucks are closed body trucks and come with a driver and 2 or more loaders.

8 Ton Trucks

​

8 ton trucks are ideal for medium sized offices.

​

These trucks come with a driver and 3 or more loaders.

Superlink Trucks

​

Superlink trucks are the biggest permissible furniture trucks in South Africa.

​

These trucks come with a 15.5 metre trailer and are 4 metres high.

​

These trucks are ideal for large office, hotel and retail moving.

​

These trucks are also used for inter-provincial shared loads.

​

Our trucks are fully serviced and are fully insured including Goods in Transit Insurance in the event of your belongings getting damaged.
